Euro Auctions to host A-Plant equipment sale
Auctioneers to hold one-day sale of ex-hire equipment in Leeds on 5 December
A-PLANT, one of the UK’s largest plant, tool and equipment hire companies, have commissioned Euro Auctions to hold a ‘one-day’ sale of a mixed range of ex-hire equipment, totalling over 1,000 items.
The auction, which will take place at Euro Auctions’ sales site, near Leeds, on Wednesday 5 December 2012, will present products ranging from excavators, breakers, mixers and dumptrucks to compressors, access equipment, loaders and rollers.
The clearance sale is part of a reinvestment programme by A-Plant into their UK stockholding of equipment and machinery. The company has recently won a number of new supply contracts where new machinery will be required for various high-profile projects.
Commenting on the forthcoming auction, Jonnie Keys, general manager of Euro Auctions, said: ‘Not since March 2009, when A-Plant last held a sale of this kind, have so many pieces of A-Plant equipment been offered for sale at one time.
‘At that last sale, there was massive interest from the industry and we are expecting no difference on 5 December. We will be marketing this sale on a global basis and are expecting good Internet activity.’
A sale catalogue will be posted on the Euro Auctions website (www.euroauctions.com) in due course. Purchasers will be able to bid in person at the auction site or via Euro Auctions’ free Internet bidding service.
