ECY Haulmark to showcase recycling and demolition equipment at Hillhead 2014

VTN CK16 multiprocessor

New products ranging from hydraulic breakers to quick-change jaw system to be launched at show

ECY Haulmark will once again be showing a variety of demolition attachments and recycling equipment from some of the most prestigious and respected brands in the market. Making its debut in the UK market will be the VTN CK16 multiprocessor (with a quick-change jaw system) suitable for use on 21- to 25-tonne excavators.

The new CK16 unit can be transformed into: crusher (interchanging jaws to P type); shear (interchanging jaw to S type); shear/claw (interchanging jaws to R type); and crusher/shear (interchanging jaws to CH).

ECY Haulmark will also be showing the Rubblemaster RM80GO crusher and demonstrating the RM100 model; both machines are ideal impact crushers for businesses new to waste recycling or processing materials in niche applications.

Elsewhere on the stand will be the full range of FRD Furukawa hydraulic breakers from the smaller FX range and mid-range FXJ brand (new to the market) to the powerful XP range. Making its worldwide premiere at Hillhead, the FXJ breakers are said to be one of a kind in the market, thanks to a new mono block design. The FXJ design requires no through bolts and eliminates the use of a separate cylinder and fronthead.

Also making its first Hillhead appearance will be the LaBounty MDP mobile demolition processor. The new MDP unit utilizes LaBounty’s renowned shear technology and is said to boast a greater jaw depth, reach and crushing capacity than other processors available on the market.

Alongside one of the Rubblemaster machines in the working demo area will be the OilQuick automatic quick-coupler system, which will give visitors an opportunity to see first hand how quick and simple changing demolition attachments has become in recent years.

Another product in action in the demonstration area will be the VTN FB crusher bucket, which has been specially designed and built to meet the increasing demand for on-site recycling and reuse of waste materials deriving from construction and demolition work.

The VTN FB bucket (available in four models) is made of Hardox 400 to support the heaviest workloads and stresses. Complementing the VTN FB range is the SB screening bucket with oscillating screens, commonly used for processing quarry residues and demolition material.

Also featured on the ECY Haulmark stand will be a range of concrete pulverizers, selector grabs, steel shears and magnets from leading manufacturers such as Dynaset, LaBounty and VTN.
