Norfolk demolition contractor chooses RubbleMaster crusher

RubbleMaster RM70GO crusher

RM70GO machine from ECY Haulmark proves a success for Anglian Demolition & Asbestos Ltd

DUE to the nature of Anglian Demolition’s work and changes in how demolition contractors have to dispose of waste, the company recognized the need to explore different options for recycling its construction and demolition (C&W) waste materials on site.

Having examined the various solutions on offer, including crusher buckets and traditional jaw crushers, Anglian Demolition concluded that a compact, mobile impact crusher would be the ideal solution. ECY Haulmark were, therefore, approached by the company to arrange a demonstration of the RubbleMaster RM70GO unit and this proved to be a crucial factor for Anglian Demolition in purchasing the impact crusher.

The main advantage of the RubbleMaster machine is that it produces saleable recycled materials (type 6F2) for Anglian Demolition and managing director Lee Storey said he was delighted with the waste-management solution.

‘To be able to crush demolition waste and sell the material for reuse on the same site is a win-win situation for us,’ he commented. ‘The RM70GO unit is capable of processing a wide range of materials, including brick, concrete, asphalt, glass, coal and natural stone. With its 1-2-3 start-up sequence, it boasts many features and benefits. The RubbleMaster is compact, easy to transport via a low loader and simple to track with a hand-held remote-control device.’

Powered by a DEUTZ engine, the crusher is capable of recycling waste materials up to 160 tonnes/h. It is equipped with a vibro feeder featuring pre-screening and an integrated release system with quick closing mechanism ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum.
