Doosan Bobcat EMEA announce new president
New leadership appointments and important changes in global organizational structure
DOOSAN Bobcat, one of the global leaders in compact construction equipment, have announced new presidents and other organizational changes to the global structure of the company, with the aim of fully integrating and leveraging the strength and scale of the business around the world, whilst maintaining a focus on customer-centric solutions.
The changes, which are effective immediately, have seen the appointment of new regional presidents and a different global organization and leadership structure, including newly created groups responsible for engineering, procurement and strategy.
Gustavo Otero has been appointed as president of Doosan Bobcat Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Mr Otero, who previously served as vice-president of compact and telehandlers at Doosan Bobcat EMEA, will be based at the company’s EMEA headquarters in Dobris, Czech Republic.
Mike Ballweber has been appointed as president of Doosan Bobcat North America, having previously served as senior vice-president of commercial business at Doosan Bobcat North America.
In addition, Alvaro Pacini has been named as senior vice-president of global procurement at Doosan Bobcat, having previously served as EMEA region president, and Troy Kraft has been appointed as senior vice-president of global engineering at Doosan Bobcat, having led engineering for Doosan Bobcat North America for nearly 12 years.
Finally, Youngmin Kwon has been named as senior-vice president of global strategy and operational excellence/total quality management. He will join Messrs Pacini and Kraft as a member of the Doosan Bobcat global function leadership team.
All five executives will report directly to Doosan Bobcat chief executive officer, Scott Park, who commented: ‘As a global company, we are taking these steps to become even more collaborative by sharing the best ideas and innovations around the world.
