Doosan and Bobcat host dealer event in Europe
Doosan-Bobcat Demo Days event in Czech Republic proves a success with high turnout
DOOSAN Construction Equipment and Bobcat hosted an open day event for their European distributors, held at the Doosan Academy in Dobris, south of Prague, on 14-18 October 2013.
Laurent Laval, training director, said: ‘The number of people expected was around 300. However, this was greatly exceeded as we had more than 450 attendants from all over Europe. We received so many requests that we have decided to set up an additional week of Demo Days this month, specially for our dealers and customers from the Middle East and Africa (MEA). Combining all the groups from Europe and MEA was simply not possible from logistical point of view.’
Demo Days is a unique opportunity for dealers to invite their customers to try out a full range of both Doosan and Bobcat machines on site and to offer them the opportunity to talk to other customers, as well as product specialists and demonstrators.
One of the key highlights of Demo Days is the demonstration itself. The use of live music, colour laser lights, fog effects and fireworks help make a spectacular show for distributors and customers.
Laurent Laval commented: ‘During the latest Demo Days, the Doosan Academy hosted a large group of German visitors – 153 dealers and customers from all over Germany attended the event.’
