Heidelberg Materials UK host free CPD event on sustainable construction and circular economy
HEIDELBERG Materials UK are inviting contractors to a free CPD event aimed at advancing knowledge and expertise in sustainable construction.
The two sessions will take place at the company’s new evoHub venue in EC1, London, on Thursday, 9 October 2025, at 11am. Topics will focus on low-carbon concrete, evoZero carbon-captured net-zero cement, and the importance of transparent data to help specifiers make informed, sustainable product choices.
Attendees will gain expert-led insight into sustainable materials, circular design principles, and low-carbon construction practices. The sessions will also feature real-world case studies demonstrating successful implementation, along with access to practical tools to support design decisions and client engagement.
‘Sustainability is no longer optional – it’s essential,’ said Marian Garfield, sustainability director at Heidelberg Materials UK. ‘Whether you are responding to client demand, regulatory pressure, or your own drive to build better, these CPDs will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to lead the change.
‘Attending will provide practical insights, innovative solutions, and the latest industry standards to help deliver projects that are both compliant and future-ready, helping you stay ahead in today’s rapidly evolving built environment.’
Situated within Techspace Clerkenwell, evoHub is designed to integrate sustainability into every stage of the design, construction, and operational processes – and beyond. Drawing on Heidelberg Materials’ expertise in recycling and reusing construction and demolition waste, evoHub promotes a fully circular approach to building.
