Brighter future beckons for BlueMAC

BlueMAC all metal separator

Recycling equipment supplier reports key growth and plans for future investment

IT has been over a year since BlueMAC Manufacturing were formally launched, bringing a refreshed approach to the design and manufacture of bespoke recycling plants.

The company, supported by the technological expertise of County Tyrone-based DMAC Engineering, has swiftly become a key player in the production of tailor-made recycling plants and associated equipment under the BlueMAC brand.

One of the BlueMAC’s highlights is reporting strong growth since inception, with 18 recycling plants already installed and many more units in the pipeline. According to the business, forward orders have exceeded its first year targets and, complementing the growth, BlueMAC have recently developed and launched their Mobile AMS (all metal separator). The robust and efficient crawler-mounted is already a stock item at Blue Group’s various locations, with two models out on extensive field trials with customers.

BlueMAC will continue to supply innovative modular products to the recycling industry and playing a key role is the company’s in-house manufacturing process that ensures total control of cost, design, components, engineering, quality and after-sales product support, overseeing each project from initial enquiry to installation and commissioning.

During 2015, BlueMAC will create more offices at their extended 7,300 sq m manufacturing facility. Alongside this, says the company, will be a recruitment campaign to ensure that the optimum in quality engineering and support personnel can be maintained as the planned growth programme develops in the coming months.

Pat McGeary of Blue Group and Oliver McShane of BlueMAC are extremely enthusiastic about the plans for BlueMAC. ‘We were always confident that we had found a good formula for success and are delighted that the first twelve months or so have more than justified that confidence,’ said Mr McGeary.

Mr McShane added: ‘Plans for the factory will allow us to maintain our growth and develop new plant and equipment for our range while ensuring that we can build on the engineering quality that has been such a vital factor in the company’s success since we launched last year.’
