Bobcat enter compaction market

Bobcat have entered the compaction market with their new range of tandem asphalt rollers.

The range of compact, ride-on, double-drum vibratory rollers covers an operating weight range of 1.4–3.7 tonnes. There is a choice of front-drum vibration only, double-drum vibration or static mode options.

The rollers produce centrifugal forces ranging from 15.6kN to 33.3kN which have been matched proportionally with the drum width to ensure maximum overall output and productivity. The centrifugal force is complemented by a 47.5Hz vibration frequency on all Bobcat rollers, allowing for optimum impact spacing at higher roller speeds to produce a smooth, dense, quality finished pavement.
