Bernd Holz takes up CECE presidency
Ammann director takes over from Eric Lepine of Caterpillar who steps down after two years as president
BERND Holz, managing director of Ammann Verdichtung GmbH and Ammann sales director Europe (North) has taken up the presidency of the Committee for European Construction Equipment (CECE) on behalf of the Czech association SVSS, as of 1 January 2016.
Mr Holz succeeds Eric Lepine of Caterpillar, who served as president in 2014 and 2015.
The new CECE leadership team is completed with Giampiero Biglia of CNH Industrial, who moves from second to first vice-president, and Lars-Göran Andersson of Volvo, who was recently elected CECE second vice-president.
Thanking Mr Lepine (right of photo) for his commitment in the past two years, Mr Holz (left of photo) said: ‘CECE will continue its work to further strengthen the profile of the European construction equipment sector, reinforcing its communication towards EU policy-makers and other stakeholders by describing and promoting the importance of the sector for the European economy and society at large.’
