ANACONDA will launch new equipment at ConExpo 2014
Anaconda Equipment International manufacture and export machinery for use in the mining, quarrying and waste recycling industries. Anaconda’s current range of equipment includes conventional screening units, scalpers, trommel screens and stacking conveyors. Since entering the US market six years ago, Anaconda say they have exceeded customer expectations with reliable, durable and high performing products.
At this year’s ConExpo exhibition, Anaconda will be exhibiting in booth #8037 in the outdoor Platinum Lot at the Las Vegas Convention Centre from 4-8 March 2014. Three machines will be on show - the TD516 tracked trommel, the DF410 tracked screener and the new FSL100 scalping screen.
Commenting on ConExpo and the latest equipment to be added to the range, managing director Alistair Forsyth said: ‘The ConExpo show is the ideal launch pad opportunity for these new Anaconda machines to the global market. Designing new products in tandem with our dealer network has been a key factor in our success to date.
‘The FSL100 has once again evolved from these discussions and we hope we have been able to address a gap in the market for this type of machine. Although the machine is different from what has gone before, our customers will find the same core ingredients in this model – quality, robust design, easy to use and affordable!
‘With the recent launch of our largest mobile screen to date, the SR514 screen is a conventional screen used mainly in the segregation of aggregates and offers the option of three or four screened products. This is yet another step up to the mark in terms of machine size and the overall results are very good. Demand is driving us to design and manufacture larger units and, so far, our distributors have supported that demand with sales orders.
‘We look forward to meeting with customers and discussing the features and benefits of our extensive product portfolio.’
FSL100
The FSL100 tracked scalping screen has been designed to handle some of the toughest applications in the quarrying, mining and recycling industries. The robust design produces two end products and is popular as a ‘pre-’ or ‘post-’ crushing screener. The FSL100 has been added to the Anaconda range to address requirements from customers around the globe who do not require conventional three-way segregation of product. The FSL100, like many of the Anaconda screens, will ship worldwide in a standard 40ft container, reducing the cost exponentially the further customers are from Northern Ireland.
The FSL100 is powered by a JCB444 Dieselmax engine or, alternatively, a Deutz TD2011FL04i engine. The two-deck vibrating grid can be fitted with grizzly bars, fingers, punch plate or mesh whilst the hopper is protected by a heavy-duty plate to prevent damage when clearing oversize product from the machine. The feeder belt and the discharge belt both offer variable speed control and the machine can be operated by wired or radio remote control.
