Anaconda launch new feeder conveyor
Anaconda Equipment have added a new product to their rapidly increasing range of machines. The FTR150 tracked feeder conveyor is designed for use as a loading conveyor for barges, boats, railway carriages and trucks. It can also be utilized as a feeder loader to control the flow of material to new/existing crushing and screening plant.
The FTR150 conveyor is available with an open feeder to accept all materials into the feed hopper or it can be fitted with a remote reject grid to scalp off any oversize material. A vibrating grid designed to help separate/remove any unwanted large material that may be more difficult to scalp with a standard reject grid can also be specified on the FTR150. This vibrating grid is available as a double deck so a further product can be removed or stockpiled.
‘The FTR150 has been designed for three key markets – USA, Australia and Africa,’ explained Anaconda operations director Martin Quinn. ‘The feedback from our network of dealers clearly showed that there was a need for such a product to satisfy existing demand from their customers. The unit has a wide variety of uses and can be shipped in a standard 40in container without dismantling.
‘We have added variable speed controls to both conveyors to ensure the operator has full control of the scalping/feeding process and the availability of a reject or vibrating grid will be popular depending on type and make-up of the material.’
The company expects to have further product launches throughout 2012 and attendance at key events such as Hillhead, though the business expects to gain more ground in the crushing and screening sector.
