ZF Services UK team up with Plant Parts
Plant Parts announced as ZF’s first official off-highway service partner for heavy excavators
ZF Services UK have teamed up with established independent construction machinery parts stockist Plant Parts, who have become the company’s first official off-highway service partner for heavy excavators.
ZF UK, who are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year, have been developing and producing parts for the construction equipment sector for decades, equipping a wide range of construction vehicles with state-of-the-art driveline technology.
As part of their service partner agreement, ZF will provide Plant Parts with their full range of heavy excavator parts and complete assemblies, manufactured in Germany by ZF Witten, as well as conventional off highway parts for wheel loaders and articulated dumptrucks.
Plant Parts will also have access to ZF’s full suite of remanufactured drivelines, including transmissions, drop boxes, axles, and torque converters.
Established in Suffolk in 1991, Plant Parts supply quality components to machine owners, dealers, and repairers in more than 100 countries. Their vast range supports more than 150 brands of tracked and wheeled machinery, with a large stockholding of final drives, swing drives, hydraulic pumps, recoil spring assemblies, and slew rings.
In addition to parts supply, Plant Parts’ on-site, ISO:9001 accredited workshop facilities, opened in 2008, provide expert repairs to various industries.
ZF’s focus is on reducing consumption and emissions, increasing productivity, driving comfort and safety, as well as increasing ease of operation and reducing noise. As a systems supplier, their team of experts concentrate on the drive as a whole and combine axles and transmissions with advanced software functions.
Richard Finch, founder and managing director of Plant Parts, commented: ‘We pride ourselves on only working with industry-leading brands and we’re thoroughly excited to join forces with a name as well known as ZF.
‘The company has decades of experience producing and manufacturing essential parts for the construction industry and we’re delighted to become their first official off-highway service partner and offer their reliable range to customers.’
Mark Bowen, off-highway business manager at ZF Services UK, added: ‘With more than 30 years of experience, Plant Parts bring great synergy to ZF’s product range in this extremely specialized arena.
‘The partnership will greatly enhance access and technical guidance to customers throughout the UK and Ireland, and as commercial lead for the UK’s off-highway business line, I’m delighted to welcome Richard and his dedicated team in Suffolk in to the ZF team.’
