Volvo CE appoint new utility equipment dealer
Capital Plant Solutions (GB) Ltd appointed Volvo utility equipment dealer covering North London, Essex, The Home Counties north and Cambridgeshire
Capital Plant Solutions (GB) Ltd based at Royston, Herts, have been appointed as Volvo Construction Equipment’s utility equipment dealer for North London, Middlesex, Essex, Herts, Bucks, Beds and Cambridgeshire with immediate effect.
Headed up by husband and wife team Iain and Ursula Johnson, Capital Plant Solutions have been in existence since December last year specializing in the sales and purchase of used equipment. Prior to that Iain Johnson held various senior positions and directorships within Benford, Terex, Neuson and latterly as regional sales director for Hire Station, part of the VP PLC Group. Likewise Iain’s wife Ursula has a good deal of experience within the construction equipment industry working for Benford and Terex for the past 16 years. She began her career in the parts department before managing the sales administration team then finally reaching the position of business development manager, managing both distributors and key accounts.
The company will be responsible for the sales and after-market support for the full range of Volvo utility equipment covering the northern Home Counties, north of the Thames including North London, Middlesex, Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. This includes compact excavators from 1.5 tonnes to 8.8 tonnes; compact wheeled loaders up to 1.0m³ capacity; backhoe loaders and small tandem vibratory rollers. Capital Plant Solutions have their headquarters located at Royston, not far from Volvo CE’s headquarters and customer support centre at Duxford, which they will fully utilize in terms of supporting their clients with parts availability and workshop facilities.
