VDT Direct launch new video alarm system
Latest rapid-deployment kit designed to meet wide range of security surveillance applications
VDT Direct, developers of rapid-deployment video security solutions, have announced the availability of their new all-in-one video alarm system. The VDT rapid deployment kit is compatible with most control room systems using multi-client software and is fully integrated with Sentinel Plus, one of the UK’s leading alarm-monitoring solutions.
Supplied pre-configured and ready to install on a wide range of surveillance applications, the new system has been developed in response to demand from installers for a solution that is quick and easy to deploy.
The rapid deployment security kit features a fully functional external PTZ dome camera with 27 x optical zoom that delivers high-quality images at distances of up to 160m during daylight, and up to 120m in low-light conditions using built-in IR capability. It incorporates a Samsung Winner V Chipset, 600 TVL resolution, colour day/night and multiple PTZ protocols.
The kit is also equipped with four wireless GJD PIR detectors (each with a detection range of up to 30m) and a GJD wireless receiver. A built-in SerVision HVG DVR with a 160GB hard drive provides up to 48 days storage capacity.
The video alarm solution includes voice announcement capability with activations generating a pre-recorded message or live voice challenge via a built-in speaker. All components are protected in an IP66-rated reinforced polycarbonate casing and the whole kit can be pole or wall mounted in minutes.
