Tyre Boss provide optimum tyre protection for LDH Plant

Tyre Boss TY OTR tyre

Company reduces mobile plant fleet downtime with quick turnaround OTR tyre management service

LDH Plant, authorized dealers for CASE equipment, as well as representatives for a range of attachments, trailers and other machinery, have turned to Tyre Boss for their OTR tyre management service to ensure maximum mobile plant uptime and efficiency.

With two depots in Newport and Middlesbrough, LDH Plant have rental equipment customers throughout the UK, serving a variety of industries. To meet the needs of their customers in the waste-management sector, it is important for wheeled equipment and support vehicles to have all-round protection.

Demolition and recycling businesses need reliable machines that can handle a wide variety of tasks and deliver high levels of performance without compromising on safety, efficiency and durability. For optimum efficiency and economy across their rental equipment fleet, LDH Plant approached Tyre Boss to ensure their customers have zero downtime tyre issues whilst delivering a host of efficiency, performance, safety and productivity benefits.

One of LDH Plant’s customers, Ringwood & Fordingbridge Skip Hire, for example, required a wheel loader that could deliver top-end performance in a demanding waste-handling operation. With an ever-present risk of punctures and tyre damage, a mandatory specification requirement was a set of solid tyres to minimize downtime.

Tim Fox, area sales manager for LDH Plant, initially placed an enquiry with Tyre Boss on social media for a new set of OTR tyres. He was clearly impressed with the speed of response and, ultimately, the service provided by the company.

‘From the initial enquiry through to completion of the order, the level of service was exceptional,’ recalled Mr Fox. ‘Tyre Boss were very helpful and knowledgeable and recommended the 20-inch TY cushion D pattern tyres.’

Indeed, the tyres were supplied in a new set of wheels, ensuring rapid switchover and fitting at an LDH Plant depot. ‘The tyres have proved to be ideal for a CASE 321F wheel loader in a waste application and are performing very well so far,’ continued Mr Fox.

According to Tyre Boss, TY solid tyres are perfect for the waste environment; not only will they prevent OTR tyre punctures, but are also highly durable, allowing recycling operators to run their equipment fleets at an optimum level, deliveirng reduced downtime and maximum efficiency.
