Group included in Sunday Times Top Track 250 league table for the second year running

THE 15th Annual ‘Sunday Times, Grant Thornton Top Track 250’ has been revealed and, for the second consecutive year, east of England-based construction services suppliers Mick George Group are included, having climbed more than 60 spaces in the rankings.

Compiled by Fast Track, a leading research and events company, the table ranks Britain’s privately-owned mid-market growth companies by performance.

To achieve a listing within the league table, a number of demanding criteria have to be fulfilled, including total sales between £110 million and £700 million, profits up to £100 million, sales profit growth minimum of 5% annually and employed staff between 50–5,000.

Mick George Group are one of just 11 companies from their core operating regions of Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Cambridgeshire to have made it on to the prestigious list, placing them alongside major national brands such as Holland & Barrett, Travelodge, and Virgin Active.

Jon Stump (pictured), joint chief executive officer of Mick George Group, said: ‘It is great recognition for the Group to be included within the Sunday Times Top Track 250 league table for the second year running. It reflects the continued efforts that everybody within our business is making for sustainable long-term success and is testament to their hard work and diligence.’
