The Importance of Geotechnical Assessment

THE third in a series of 30-minute ‘Lunch and Learn’ webinars from IQ Academy will discuss the considerations and practicable techniques that can be employed when undertaking geotechnical assessments.
Running from 12.30–13.00 on Thursday 29 March 2018, ‘The Importance of Geotechnical Assessment’ will be presented by David Jameson of GWP Consultants.
Mr Jameson is a Chartered Engineer, Chartered Geologist and member of The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IMMM), and has more than 25 years’ international consulting experience in the mining, quarrying and construction sectors.
GWP Consultants are an independent firm of geologists, hydrogeologists and geotechnical engineers specializing in the mining, quarrying and civils sectors. GWP have published several books on quarry design, tip design and quarry restoration techniques, and had significant input into the statutory Quarries Regulations for the UK.
