Terex further expand environmental equipment business
Terex Environmental Equipment acquire environmental technology assets of Neuson Ecotec GmbH
TEREX Environmental Equipment (TEE), part of Terex Materials Processing, have fully acquired the assets related to the environmental technology product lines of Austria-based Neuson Ecotec GmbH.
The acquisition marks further expansion of TEE, following the purchase of Continental Biomass Industries (CBI) in April this year. As a business segment of Terex Materials Processing, TEE have been serving the recycling, wood and biomass industries since 2011.
The acquisition of the Neuson Ecotec’s environmental products will add chipping, shredding, screening and composting products to Terex’s diverse range of equipment. Completion of the deal will also broaden TEE’s worldwide dealer network; as the environmental technology products of Neuson Ecotec will be part of a global portfolio of distribution-oriented products rebranded as Terex Ecotec.
TEE say they will bring the latest rebranded products to the market through a network of world-class dealers and with the support of Terex resources and infrastructure around the world.
TEE worldwide business director, Tony Devlin, commented: ‘The addition of the Terex Ecotec environmental technology product lines will add further depth and breadth to an already significant portfolio of products managed by TEE. We are excited to add these products to our portfolio and to welcome Neuson Ecotec personnel to the Terex Environmental Equipment team.’
