Terex Finlay host Americas customer open day
Company launches new crushers and screens at Martin Marietta’s Medina Quarry in Texas
TEREX Finlay recently hosted an Americas customer open day in San Antonio, Texas. In addition to US, South American and Canadian visitors, customers and dealers from as far away as Ireland and Russia were also in attendance.
The event and product demonstrations were hosted by Martin Marrietta’s Medina Quarry, just outside San Antonio, and saw Terex Finlay unveil three new machines. These were the first production models of the new I-140 impact crusher, C-1540 direct-drive cone crusher and 674 inclined screener to reach American shores.
The on-site demonstrations featured a total of eight Terex Finlay machines in three working demonstration zones, with one machine on static display.
Demo one featured the new I-140 impact crusher feeding into an 893 heavy-duty forward-facing screen; Demo two was the headline act incorporating a J-1170 jaw crusher, the new C-1540 cone crusher and the new 674 inclined screen; and Demo three featured the mid-sized 873 heavy-duty forward-facing screen.
Keith McCann, Terex Finlay Americas sales director, said: ‘It was a huge pleasure to welcome so many customers to yet another successful Terex Finlay Americas open day. Our new product developments this calendar year have been unprecedented.
‘We place a lot of emphasis on listening to what our customers say they want and need from their equipment day in day out, and judging by the feedback that we’ve received on the new product launches we are definitely on the right track with our new product development initiatives.’
