Tata firm to acquire Hewitt Robins
INDIAN materials handling and processing solutions firm TRF Ltd, a Tata Group company, have announced that they are to acquire UK-based Hewitt Robins International Ltd for a total consideration of approximately £3 million.
The board of directors of Jamshedpur-based TRF Ltd approved the acquisition at a meeting held yesterday (22 March).
Based in Measham, Derbyshire, Hewitt Robins International Ltd design, manufacture and supply a range of screens, mobile crushers and related products for the quarrying, mining, recycling, iron and steel industries, as well as spare parts for screens, feeders and crushers, including replacement components for machines built in the last 50+ years.
TRF Ltd’s product range includes stacker reclaimers, level luffing cranes, wagon tipplers, rotary breakers, ring granulators, crushers, screens, feeders, side discharge loaders, wagon loaders, load and haul dumpers, idlers, shuttle conveyors and travelling tippers.
