Tailor Made JCB Models On Show At Hillhead
At Hillhead 2010, JCB will showcase a vast range of modelsfrom its heavyline range of equipment for the quarrying, demolition and recycling industries - both on the stand and in the JCB demonstration area.
Included in the static display are two flagshipmodels - the quarry specification JCB 456 wheeled loading shovel with L5 tyres,chevrons and a camera for added on-site safety alongside the latest JCB JS360 tracked excavator with rock bucketand unique handrail.
Duringthe exhibition, a selection of tailor-made demolition and waste handling modelswill perform application-specific roles in the JCB demonstration area.
Performingrecycling and waste handling duties are the JS200 Materials Handler Wastemasterand 456 Wastemaster wheeled loading shovel. Both form part of the extensive JCBWastemaster range, in which each machine incorporates a high-specificationwaste environment package as standard, including cab filtration, air-conditioning,wide-core radiators, light guards and under-body protection.
For thearduous demolition environment, the JS260XD (Extra-Duty) featuresstrengthened boom and dippers, rugged undercarriage guarding and covers, siderail protection systems and FOPS cab guards. Furthermore, a JS360 tracked excavator will be utilising apulveriser attachment while a JS220 will be seen powering the accurate andproductive RW100 JCB Rockwheel hydraulic cutter attachment.
JCB'sexcavator models are built at the £40million state-of-the-art factory inStaffordshire and their quality construction allows the firm to offer atwo-year warranty across the range. JCB has also become the first UKmanufacturer to be awarded 3-star Thatcham accreditation for its securitymeasures on excavators, enabling customers to receive a 45 per cent reductionon premiums from JCB Insurance.
Additionalpurpose-built products for the sector include: articulated dumptrucks, wheeledand tracked excavators, compaction equipment, lighting towers, skid steer loaders,generators and the LiveLink telematics system.
