Companies announce strategic move to combine engineering team capabilities and global stockholding capacity

CHAIN & Conveyor Ltd, specialists in conveyor chains and sprockets, have partnered with Hoverdale UK Ltd, global providers of conveyor system equipment and on-site plant engineering services, to combine engineering team capabilities and global stockholding capacity in a strategic move designed to maximize mutual benefits to their respective customer bases

The collaboration will allow both organizations to supply combined site engineering teams to facilitate the installation and servicing of all customer assets. This will further complement Chain & Conveyor’s vast stockholding of parts and ancillary components, which will now be increased to all Hoverdale locations nationally and internationally.

Neil Stott, managing director of Chain and Conveyor Ltd said: ‘We are pleased to have entered into this new partnership. We have a wealth of practical and technical experience in the use and application of conveyor chains and ancillary equipment in many industries, supported by a large stock of special and standard imperial and metric chains, so the additional site service and support of Hoverdale is good news for our customers.’

Matthew Beverley, chairman of Hoverdale UK Ltd, added: ‘We are delighted to be entering into this partnership. We have been providing services to the bulk-handling industry for over 50 years and many of our customers need chain conveyors. Being able to work together in this capacity to meet all of their needs is great news for our customers and employees alike, and we look forward to nurturing a fruitful and mutually beneficial partnership.’

Both organizations will be exhibiting at Hillhead 2024 from 25–27 June.
