SPECTIVE CONNECT extended by stockpile-monitoring function
Overview of material discharge from Kleemann machines available at all times for even higher productivity
KLEEMANN’s intuitive SPECTIVE operating concept contributes significantly to the efficient operation of Kleemann crushing machines. The mobile application SPECTIVE CONNECT, in particular, supports the operator on the work site during a typical workday.
Now, material discharge, and therefore the associated material stockpiles, can be better monitored and organized thanks to the addition of a ‘Stockpile monitoring’ function. Thia also makes work easier for the wheel loader operator, whose tasks include clearing the stockpiles.
Stockpile monitoring allows SPECTIVE CONNECT to display the status of material stockpiles at all times. Users can define the stockpile height at they wish to be informed – for example, at 90% of the total height.
Stockpile monitoring is particularly helpful on extensive terrain and with larger machine trains. Not all material stockpiles are always in the excavator operator’s field of vision, whilst wheel loader operators often have other tasks too.
SPECTIVE CONNECT sends a push notification to enable the operators to go to the full material stockpile at the right time to clear it, allowing them to concentrate on their other tasks and thereby saving unnecessary trips, preventing switch-off when the stockpile is full, and increasing productivity.
Moreover, the system learns for the future. All material stockpile data is recorded and used to build up an algorithm that calculates the time remaining until the stockpile is full. Thus, the stockpile-monitoring function allows processes on the work site to be optimized and prevents downtime.
