Sibelco eCommerce site accelerates growth and innovation
Continued investment in company’s eCommerce site provides user-friendly experience for customers
SIBELCO say they are accelerating growth and innovation through continued investment in their eCommerce platform – an initiative designed to meet the needs of their customers and to help the company become the digital leader in the industry.
Customer experience is central to Sibelco’s digital strategy, with customers expressing a need for a quicker and easier way to place their orders, as well as greater visibility of their account and Sibelco’s product portfolio.
To meet this need, Sibelco have created an eCommerce site that provides a user-friendly experience for customers, allowing them to access both the customer portal and eShop seamlessly.
Using the site, customers can browse Sibelco’s product catalogue and obtain specific product information 24h a day, seven days a week. They can also access their order and invoice history, create new delivery addresses, check the status of their previous orders, and easily re-order their preferred products, allowing them to be more independent and responsive to market needs.
Since its launch, the site has seen rapid adoption, expanding from one to 13 European countries in just two years. By listening to their customers, Sibelco say they have introduced new features to constantly adapt to their needs, with the aim of making it easier than ever for customers to order from the company.
According to Sibelco, the digital transformation is showing promising results. In 2024, the company processed more than 3,000 online orders, whilst more than 5,000 online orders were processed in the first quarter of 2025 alone. Today, more than 1,500 customers are actively purchasing through the Sibelco eCommerce site.
