Safe Lift

As part of their commitment to safe working practices and the elimination of manual handling, Hanson Aggregates have taken delivery of over 30 Manitou MT1440 and MT1740 ORH telehandlers equipped with forklift attachments and working platforms.

The machines were supplied by Manitou dealers FTM Materials Handling of Bridgend, complete with a full service and maintenance package. Lift heights of 14m and 17m, respectively, allow the lifting of high-value maintenance items, such as gearboxes and motors, to most areas, while the fully remote controlled man-lift platform can be used in a wide range of applications, including electrical wiring, installation of cladding sheets, screen deck replacement etc.
