RWM 2020 postponed
Exhibition for the recycling and waste-management sector rescheduled to 3–4 November 2020
THE date for RWM 2020, the showcase exhibition for the recycling and waste-management industry, has been put back to 3–4 November 2020. The postponement follows close monitoring of government guidance regarding the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic along with feedback from stakeholders and customers.
Event organizers Roar B2B took the decision to delay the show – which was due to be held at the NEC, Birmingham, on 16–17 September – after a long period of time working with the NEC, Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM) and other industry associations to ensure a safe and productive environment.
They also said in light of the coronavirus pandemic the resounding message from the industry is that the RWM exhibition is a key component of reigniting the market during this challenging period.
Bradley Maule-ffinch, managing director of Roar B2B, commented: ‘Our teams have been working hard to bring you an event in 2020 that connects the industry, showcases ground-breaking developments, innovations and shares expertise and learning.
‘We are committed to working with the industry to ensure our exhibitors and stakeholders are given a high level of customer service in this uncertain time. Moving the RWM dateline back by several months will allow more time to catch up after a few difficult months and put on the show that the market deserves.’
