Royal visit for Terex Pegson
LAST month Terex Pegson were visited by HRH The Duke of York in his capacity as the UK’s Special Representative for International Trade and Investment.
As well as meeting senior management and production team leaders at the company’s Coalville headquarters, Prince Andrew was given a guided tour of the production facilities and introduced to six long-serving personnel. He was also shown around the company’s latest product development, the X400 crushing plant, which has just been launched on to the British market (see next month’s QM for full details).
Commenting on the royal visit, Terex Pegson’s general manager, Keith Tudor, said: ‘As the recipient of two Queen’s Awards for Industry in 2002 and 2005, we greatly value this recognition of our efforts. It was also a wonderful opportunity for us to honour the tremendous employment records of our six long-serving members of staff, and to show Prince Andrew our latest state-of-the-art crushing plant for quarrying and recycling applications.’
