Lomater unveiled as new French distributor for UK manufacturer of compact crushers and screens
LINCOLNSHIRE-based crusher and screener manufacturers Red Rhino have the strengthened their presence in mainland Europe after signing an agreement with leading French plant and construction equipment distributors Lomater.
Situated in Grantham, Red Rhino were acquired in 2009 by Winfield Engineering who have more than 50 years of specialist engineering experience in the supply of agricultural and commercial fabrications.
Red Rhino’s product range includes crushers suited to small-scale construction and demolition projects, as well as larger remote-controlled crushers and screeners with the ability to process material such as concrete, brick, and other building waste into reusable material.
The business has enjoyed significant growth over recent years and continued to attract new distributors around the world, with machines available in Europe, Asia, North America, Canada, and Australia.
Now unveiled as Red Rhino’s latest partner, Lomater were established in 1980 and is a family-owned business with two locations in France. The business supports the sales and servicing of machinery ranging from diggers and earthmoving equipment to tractors and specialist plant machinery.
The company’s president, Stephane Spreder, and sales representative Franck Laniel recently visited Red Rhino’s Grantham headquarters to take a tour of the facilities, meet the team, and put pen to paper on a new dealer agreement which will see the French firm stock a range of crushers and screeners.
For Lesley Perrin, sales manager at Red Rhino, bringing Lomater on board as a distributor is a great piece of news to start the year with and one which will serve to support the company’s ongoing growth ambitions over the coming years.
‘We’re always looking for new distribution partners around the world who see the value in stocking our products and understand the benefits they bring to construction and demolition companies – both in terms of their projects and for the wider environment.
‘Lomater is a reputable name within the plant industry in Europe and a trusted place for businesses to source the latest equipment. We cannot wait to see how this partnership evolves over time and look forward to establishing a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Stephane and the team.’
Commenting on the new partnership, Stephane Spreder said: ‘We were searching for a quality partner in the UK to establish a long-term relationship with, and we were already aware of the manufacturing quality of Red Rhino.
‘Following thorough research, we felt that Simon Winfield and his team were the ideal partners – with great people who are clear in their relationships, efficient in their actions, and aware of the needs and expectations of users.
‘It is a joy for us to welcome such a prestigious brand on board and our sales and technical colleagues cannot wait to work closely with the team at Red Rhino moving forward.’
