The trade fair also experienced a strong increase in visitors from outside Europe, especially from China, Australia and Japan. More than 5,500 visitors came from China alone.
Breaking even more records, with around 3,700 exhibitors from 63 countries filling an unprecedented 614,000 square metres of space, the 2019 event was the largest bauma ever held.
