Raymond Brown invest in new Volvo machines
Company strengthens its earthmoving fleet with eight new Volvo excavators and wheel loaders
RAYMOND Brown have invested in three new Volvo excavators for use at their materials recycling facility located on the A303 at Barton Stacey, near Andover. The machines will be used sort and load a range of waste materials for the picking lines, carry out stockpiling duties and load out high-sided bulkers for onward processing.
The new Volvo units include an EW210D wheeled materials-handling excavator featuring a bespoke straight boom and dipper arm arrangement, a hydraulically elevating cab and a rotating selector grapple. Joining the wheeled unit are a 22-tonne crawler excavator and an ECR88D reduced-swing excavator, which is the largest in the line-up of Volvo compact excavators.
In addition, the Group’s aggregates division has welcomed a 22-tonne EC220E crawler excavator and a larger 30-tonne EC300E machine, along with two new Volvo L120H wheel loaders and an L150H model.
All eight machines have been supplied with Volvo’s Blue service agreements, ensuring that each one will be regularly maintained by Volvo-trained engineers using genuine OEM parts.
