Rapid International introduce new-generation mixing plant in the US
Houston-based Rollcon LLC take delivery of first Rapidmix400CW mobile continuous mixing plant in North America
RAPID International have announced the North American launch of their new fully weighed mobile continuous mixing plant – the Rapidmix400CW. The latest mixing plant offers full weighing options for aggregates, cement and water, and provides record keeping that is automated, precise and detailed.
Rollcon LLC, the first US recipient of the Rapidmix400CW plant, specialize in providing roller-compacted concrete (RCC) paving solutions for both public sector and private industry clients. The paving contractor chose the Rapidmix400CW following successful use of its predecessor model – the 400C continuous mixing plant – on previous projects.
Rollcon say they have confidence that the new plant will ensure RCC supply contracts are carried out on time and within budget. It provides the mixing efficiency needed to evenly disperse the small amount of water used in the mixing of RCC.
The Rapidmix400CW plant is designed to work on a variety of applications such as bentonite landfill sealing, dam construction, contaminated soil stabilization and as a cement-treated base for road construction.
