Presentation marks FM Conway’s 50 years
Michael Conway (pictured centre), managing director of Kent-based highways maintenance firm FM Conway, receives a memento to celebrate the first asphalt produced by the company’s new Benninghoven asphalt plant, and to mark FM Conway’s 50 years of trading, from Bernd Benninghoven (right), managing director of Benninghoven GmbH, and sales engineer Rainer Boellinger (left).
Following the presentation, guests were taken on a tour of the new plant and jetty to see first hand how the aggregates brought in by ship are off-loaded and transported to stockpiles.
The new asphalt plant features the latest production and recycling technology and represents the largest ever project of its kind undertaken by Benninghoven in the UK.
