Powerscreen appoint sales manager for Asia

Andrew Yeo takes on new key role with responsibility for all sales and marketing activity in the region

POWERSCREEN have appointed Andrew Yeo as sales manager for Asia, with responsibility for all sales and marketing activity for crushing and screening machines and parts in the region.

Based in Malaysia, Mr Yeo (pictured) will work closely with the Powerscreen Global Distributor Network to meet customer needs within Asia.

Commenting on the appointment, Colin Clements, international sales director, said: ‘This is a key new appointment for Powerscreen. Asia is an important market for us, and Andrew’s experience and respect in the industry will be an asset to the Powerscreen strategy of delivering class-leading customer support through its global distributor network.’

Mr Yeo brings a wealth of equipment manufacturing experience to the company, having previously spent several years as a technical project sales engineer with Caterpillar.

For many years Powerscreen have been one of the leading brands for crushing and screening equipment in Asia. Customers are currently supported by 10 distributors in the region and Powerscreen say they have plans to enhance existing coverage by recruiting additional distributors.
