POWERSCREEN, one of the world’s leading providers of mobile crushing and screening equipment, have announced the signing of DUO Africa as their first distributor in Ghana. DUO Africa will sell equipment into Ghana and support Powerscreen products in the Sub-Saharan region.
Colin Clements, international sales director, said: ‘Powerscreen continue to strengthen their global distributor network with the signing of DUO Africa in Ghana. The region has great potential and we’re confident that DUO will be an excellent distributor to deliver growth and support for our customers’ requirements.
‘Powerscreen now have more than 120 distributors across the world to deliver unbeaten customer support; committed to getting customers the right parts the first time and providing experienced field engineers should you need them.’
DUO plc have been a Powerscreen distributor in the UK for more than 25 years, and also represent other Terex product lines: Terex Mineral Processing Systems and Terex Washing Systems.
‘We are delighted to strengthen our relationship with the Powerscreen brand,’ said DUO’s CEO, Alex Moss. ‘Having worked on several washing, crushing and screening projects in Africa in recent years, we have gained considerable experience in this market, which, combined with our extensive Powerscreen product knowledge, places us in an excellent position to establish DUO Africa and Powerscreen as progressive, market-leading brands in Ghana and across the West African region.’
He added: ‘Our Ghanaian office and service centre will carry comprehensive stock of Powerscreen spares and will be supported by a team of experienced service engineers who will provide our African customer-base with the same levels of support we offer our UK customers.’
DUO will offer customers financing options through Terex Financial Services, who can provide a range of finance and leasing solutions, structured to accommodate customers’ cash flow and budgets. The Terex Financial Services team is equipped to assist in all areas of asset management, from the analysis of future equipment values through to the disposal of used equipment.
