Polar expedition for Haver Niagara machines
The mineral processing technology division of Haver & Boecker demonstrated their ability to fulfil customer requests when they embarked on the development and production of a heavy-duty Haver Niagara T-Class vibrating screen and a Haver Niagara vibrating feeder for track-mounted operation in the polar border region.
Both machine types were specially adapted to the requirements of Haahjen AS of Vigra, Norwegian manufacturers of mobile plant, who are renowned for their heavy-duty CTC mobile plants.
The focus was put on the adaptability of the machine to achieve the desired performance as well as high levels of flexibility. In addition, importance was attributed to the machines’ availability and functionality in a harsh environment with extreme weather conditions as part of a Haahjem CTC 136 S3M tracked mobile secondary crushing and classifying plant with a feed rate of up to 500 tonnes/h.
The Haver Niagara T-Class vibrating screen features pre-heatable oil lubrication, which allows for safe machine start up and long service life of the bearings for the low ambient temperatures it will have to work in.
