New senior appointment at Tennant UK
Peter Tye appointed as new country manager following retirement of Nick Hayes
INDUSTRIAL cleaning machinery specialists Tennant UK have announced the appointment of Peter Tye as new country manager following the retirement of Nick Hayes.
Mr Tye joins Tennant UK from Renault Trucks where he occupied the role of used truck and rental director with responsibility for the strategy, sales, operations, and remarketing within the used truck division. The business, under his direction, achieved significant growth and profitability.
Prior to this, he has held various board level roles, including operations director within ATS Euromaster’s retail division in the UK and before that was retail director for HiQ’s distribution network. Nick Hayes, who retires on 1 August after 12 years of service to Tennant, was actively involved in the recruitment of Peter Tye.
Commenting on his new role, Mr Tye said: ‘I’ve already met with a number of key people within Tennant Company and there is a collective expertise and passion that runs throughout the business. I’m very excited to be a part of such a recognised leader in the cleaning machine industry and I’m looking forward to being part of the team that delivers Tennant products and services Tennant to our customers.’
