New sales director for Blue Spares

Stuart Truckel appointed to expand and develop sales in Blue Spares and Wear & Spare Parts

BLUE Spares have announced the appointment of Stuart Truckel as sales director, with a brief to drive, expand and further develop sales both in Blue Spares and Wear & Spare Parts, which is the export side of the spares division.

Reporting to managing director Sean Warburton, Mr Truckel will be based at Blue Spares’ headquarters in Warrington, Cheshire.

 

Prior to his appointment Mr Truckel (pictured right) was with Linde Heavy Truck Division where he held the position of global aftermarket director. Before this he spent 12 years operating within the capital equipment business representing the brands CNH, JCB, and Caterpillar.

Commenting on the appointment, Sean Warburton (pictured left) said: ‘We are delighted to have Stuart joining us. He brings a wide knowledge and experience which will make a great contribution to our growth plans and inject new ideas into our national and international sales activities across all markets.’

Mr Truckel said: ‘I am pleased to have joined the Blue Spares team, in the knowledge that the excellent reputation of the company and the products and services we provide will help me to achieve the expansion plans and continuing success of the business.’

The Blue Group spares division comprises: Blue Spares, providers of genuine OEM parts for Powerscreen, Pegson, Doppstadt and Kiverco; and Wear & Spare Parts, providers of premium-quality wear parts worldwide for all types of mobile crushing machinery.

The division has a stockholding of £1.6 million and approximately 14,000 line items available off the shelf at any one time. Blue Spares have developed a ‘24/7’ network spares service for customers and provide 24h parts turnaround.
