New sales appointment at E.P. Barrus
Company appoints Andy Collins as area sales manager for its industrial engines division
INDUSTRIAL engine manufacturers E.P. Barrus have recruited Andy Collins to the role of area sales manager for their industrial engines division.
In a career spanning 25 years in the industrial engines sector, Mr Collins held several sales management positions with Lombardini (acquired by Kohler Co.’s engine group in 2008), including as UK team leader, a role in which he was responsible for the development and acquisition of blue-chip OEMs.
Prior to joining E.P. Barrus, Mr Collins was sales director for HGI Generators, handling commercial sales and specific direct key accounts.
His responsibilities as area sales manager for E.P. Barrus will include the management and development of specific existing/new customers representing the industry’s leading diesel, petrol and gas engine brands, such as Yanmar, John Deere, Kawasaki and Toyota.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Collins said: ‘I am very excited at the prospect of working as part of the well-established team at Barrus and joining a company with an impressive heritage spanning over one hundred years.
‘With my longstanding passion for engines and generating sets, I am looking forward to being part of the team and driving the business forward with the introduction of new market opportunities and extending our customer base.’
