New key appointment at Doosan Bobcat

Jan Moravec appointed as general manager of Portable Power business for EMEA region

THE Portable Power business of Doosan Bobcat has announced a new global leadership structure to provide the company with increased efficiencies in terms of operational footprint, product platforms and other key initiatives. The change is aimed at streamlining the global performance of Portable Power products within Doosan Bobcat. 

To this end, Jan Moravec, who has been with Portable Power for more than 18 years and is based at the Doosan Bobcat EMEA campus in Dobris, in the Czech Republic, has been appointed as general manager of Portable Power for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He will report to Lance Mathern, global vice-president of Portable Power.

 

In his new role, Mr Moravec (pictured) will retain responsibility for product and programme management, as well as taking on responsibility for sales, service, supply chain sales, inventory and operations planning, along with responsibility for the company-owned stores in EMEA.

Commenting on his new role. Mr Moravec said: ‘I’m delighted to be taking on the new role of general manager of Portable Power EMEA. Our key goals for this year include the completion of our Stage V compressor range with the introduction of a new family of small compressors, enhancing our product offering for MEA markets, and continuing to strengthen our dealership network in the EMEA region.’
