New Ingersoll Rand PowerSource generator range from Doosan Infracore Portable Power
Designed for rental and construction markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the new Ingersoll Rand PowerSource range is a highly engineered line of 12 mobile and portable generator models with prime power outputs at rated speed from 10kVA to 500kVA.
The PowerSource generators are equipped with state-of-the-art Stage 2 emission-compliant engines to ensure an optimum mix of performance, fuel economy and low emissions. Thanks to their high-capacity onboard fuel systems, the new PowerSource generators can run for at least 24h, without refuelling, ensuring uninterrupted power for critical applications.
All PowerSource units feature powerful Leroy Somer alternators with AREP excitation, providing best-in-class motor-starting performance and making them suitable for powering pumps, cranes and other applications with high start-up demands.
All control functions are grouped together on a common, simple-to-use operator control panel. Easy-to-read analogue gauges display critical operating parameters at a glance, and any system faults are indicated on the LED diagnostic panel, greatly simplifying troubleshooting. Gauges and switches have been chosen for their reliability and performance in harsh environments, and all the relevant internal components have been grouped together for fast and easy servicing.
Remote auto start/stop control is a standard feature for models above the G10, allowing connection to automatic transfer switches and other remote starting switches. There is also an optional Digital Module with fault history and different languages available.
The advanced engine controller precisely controls unit start-up and monitors a host of other functions to protect the generator system against faults.
The robust, 2mm thick compact enclosures on the new PowerSource generators are finished with a 13-stage paint process, including zinc phosphate pretreatment, e-coat primer and a durable textured powder-paint coating that offers excellent resistance to corrosion and to the bumps and scrapes of mine, quarry and construction sites.
The sound-reducing insulation on the PowerSource generator enclosure, combined with features such as optimized fan speeds, allows the units to match their high-performance outputs with low noise levels, making them suitable for night-time applications and other noise-sensitive worksite situations.
In addition, the new PowerSource line of generators has been equipped with an array of environmentally friendly features. For example, each model features 110% environmental containment to prevent any spillage of fuel, oil, or coolant.
