New Holland to showcase Tier 4 technology at Hillhead 2012
C-Series excavators and wheel loaders, L225 skid-steer loader and Iveco vehicles to feature on New Holland’s stand
New Holland will show their powerful C-Series crawler excavators and wheel loaders, featuring Tier 4 interim technologies, at Hillhead 2012.
The recently launched L225 skid-steer loader and Iveco construction vehicles will also be featured on the stand.
The 21-ton E215C crawler excavator, which relies on Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology to meet Tier 4 interim emissions standards, delivers an extra 15hp and up to 10% fuel savings compared to the B-Series model. Also on show will be the 35-ton E385C featuring New Holland’s high-efficiency hydraulic system, which provides power, combined with fuel efficiency. Visitors to the show will also be able to see the E385C LC in action in New Holland’s demonstration area.
The two C-Series wheel loaders on the stand - the W190C and W270C - share the powerful and fuel-efficient performance that comes with New Holland’s SCR technology. The heavy-duty axles can cope with the most hostile environments and are suitable for working in applications such as waste and scrap handling or quarries. The W300C at work in the demonstration area and the W270C on display feature a flat-bottom bucket, which is bigger, has better penetration in the pile and exceptional retention of the material. In gravel, aggregate and sand applications an additional 18% penetration force lifts improves productivity levels.
The L225 skid-steer loader on display features New Holland’s patented vertical-lift Super Boom design, which delivers best-in-class forward dump height and reach. Visitors will be able to appreciate the comfort of the widest cab in the industry, which has been further improved to provide twice the visibility of previous models.
Iveco, New Holland’s sister company, will also be present on the stand with two vehicles suitable for construction businesses.
