New high-performance crusher from Superior
US manufacturer adds Liberty primary jaw crusher to growing materials-processing equipment portfolio
SUPERIOR Industries Inc., specialists in bulk materials processing and handling systems, have launched the new Liberty mobile primary jaw crusher for stone, concrete, asphalt and ore crushing applications.
Superior acquired the original design of the crusher in their 2015 takeover of Canadian-based Clemro Western. Following customer feedback, the Minnesota-based company redesigned the unit and added a number of new features.
According to Superior, the Liberty jaw crusher is equipped with an ‘aggressive nip angle’ that maintains the machine’s ability to consistently grab and process material at high levels of efficiency. A set of integrated lifting points has also been designed into the jaw dies for safer replacement/installation.
Other key features of the crusher include pitman toe protection and a frame-mounted motor that frees up deck space for maintenance due to its smaller footprint. Further maintenance time is saved with thanks to the addition of a hydraulic tensioning system and hydraulic wedge adjustment.
Superior Liberty jaw crushers have feed openings ranging from 18in x 36in to 36in x 48in.
