Aggregate Industries appoint Tom Wise to lead company’s specialist sands division

AGGREGATE Industries have appointed Tom Wise as the new general manager of the company’s specialist sands division – Garside Sands.

Mr Wise, who has worked at Aggregate Industries for more than 15 years, has gained a wealth of experience from his previous business-improvement and management roles across a number of different divisions, including Aggregates, Readymix, and Asphalt, and from outside the company in recycling and waste management.

Commenting on his new appointment, he said: ‘Garside Sands is a fantastic business; it is an honour to be given this opportunity to take over the leadership of the division.

‘Having been part of the Aggregate Industries family for the best part of two decades, I know how important the division is to the business and I’m looking forward to working with the team and getting involved with the amazing projects that they deliver.’

Welcoming Mr Wise to his new role, Garside Sands’ commercial manager, Clive Martin, said: ‘We are delighted to have Tom join the team at Leighton Buzzard. He is well known across Aggregate Industries and has an excellent reputation for delivering success.

‘Tom’s knowledge, skills and passion will be key ingredients in leading the further development of this important and successful business.’
