New Doosan and Bobcat dealer in Ireland
Dublin-based Montana Plant Sales to provide sales and service in Leinster, Munster and Connacht
DOOSAN Infracore Construction Equipment (DICE) have appointed Dublin-based Montana Plant Sales, part of Ballyvesey Holdings Ltd, as a new authorized dealer for Doosan and Bobcat products in the provinces of Leinster, Munster and Connacht, in Ireland.
Under the new agreement, Montana Plant Sales will now provide sales and service in these areas for Doosan excavators from 14 to 70 tonnes, the Doosan range of wheel loaders and the Doosan range of high-capacity telescopic handlers.
The company is also an authorized dealer for the complete range of Bobcat compact equipment in the three provinces, including skid-steer, compact tracked and all-wheel-steer loaders, mini-excavators, telehandlers, utility vehicles and attachments.
Operating out of facilities at Greenogue, near Dublin, Montana Plant Sales will work alongside Ireland’s other Bobcat dealer, Pat O’Donnell & Co., while the Doosan and Bobcat dealerships for Ulster will continue to be run by Northern Excavators, based at Hillsborough in Co. Down.
‘We are very familiar with Doosan and Bobcat products through our subsidiary Scotia Plant Ltd, which has been very successful with both dealerships in the central belt of Scotland, said Dermot Cunnie, general manager of the Construction Division of Ballyvesey Holdings Ltd. ‘So when Doosan offered us the new dealerships in Leinster, Munster and Connacht, it was a great opportunity to expand our business in Ireland and we were delighted to accept the appointment.’
Montana Plant Sales will offer service and warranty work on all existing Doosan and Bobcat machines in the three provinces, backed by a full selection of genuine accessories and parts.
According to Mr Cunnie, the decision to stock new machines as well as parts has been one of the keys to success at the Scotia Plant dealership and this will be repeated at Greenogue, where Montana Plant Sales will hold a stock of new and used Doosan and Bobcat branded machines, allowing them to respond quickly to customers’ needs.
