New concrete plant for Hills Quarry Products
Company expands reach with acquisition of Gloucester concrete plant from Chelmix Concrete Ltd
HILLS Quarry Products have taken over the operation of an existing ready-mixed concrete plant at The Old Bakery Yard in Lower Tuffley Lane, Gloucester, which they recently purchased from Chelmix Concrete Ltd.
Group director Peter Andrew said: ‘Our new site at Gloucester will greatly expand the geographical area in which Hills Quarry Products operate and also enhance the level of service we can provide to our customers with a mini-mix service now available from all our concrete plants.’ The site, which is being registered with the Quality Scheme for Ready-Mixed Concrete (QSRMC), produces high-quality concrete and screed for collection or delivery using 4, 6 and 8 cubic metre vehicles.
