New attachments from Doosan
Korean manufacturer expands product range with new line of heavy-duty buckets and quick-couplers
DOOSAN Infracore Construction Equipment have extended their range of attachments for excavators with a new line of heavy-duty buckets and quick-couplers manufactured in Europe.
The latest products – which are intended for markets in Europe, Africa and the Middle East – can be mounted quickly and easily, providing cost-effective and productive solutions for a number of applications, including quarrying, mining, digging, trenching and loading.
Available in a variety of sizes, the attachments are approved for use on Doosan excavators from 14 to 70 tonnes. Each size of attachment is engineered in accordance with the specifications of the matching excavator to ensure the highest performance, efficiency and stability.
Doosan quick-couplers allow the operator to change attachments comfortably from within the cab, saving up to 25% of total machine operating time compared to a direct-mount system.
The new heavy-duty buckets have a cast corner section and side cutters for increased protection against wear and tear. They are suitable for digging soil, dirt and light gravel. Other features include: a diamond folded top section for greater structural strength; bottom wear straps; and the use of high-quality abrasion-resistant materials for longer service life.
The heavy-duty grading buckets (for excavator models from 14 to 30 tonnes) feature formed diamond folded top sections for additional strength with wear straps, weld-in cast side cutters and two web plates for extra rigidity. The slim design of the bucket web plates provides more space for easier transport, while the deep profile makes them suitable for leveling and loading applications.
The rock digging buckets (for excavators from 14-52 tonnes) from Doosan are designed for tough overburden digging applications in compacted surfaces and for abrasive material such as earth/rock, sand/clay and sand/gravel mixtures. These buckets have extra high side plates and a heavier cutting edge and teeth for increased strength and wear resistance.
