New appointment at LiuGong
Graziano Cassinelli to lead Chinese manufacturer’s newly formed global rental and used equipment business
GRAZIANO Cassinelli has joined LiuGong to lead their newly formed Global Rental & Used Equipment unit. As director of global rental and used equipment, Mr Cassinelli will bring a wealth of knowledge from years of experience in all aspects of the rental and used equipment business.
Kevin Thieneman, vice-president of LiuGong Machinery and chairman of LiuGong North America and LiuGong Latin America, said: ‘Rental is the largest segment for the construction equipment industry in Europe and North America and is projected to become a leading segment in China.
In addition, effective management of used equipment is an important element to ensuring end-users enjoy lower total cost of ownership. This new endeavour will champion LiuGong’s efforts to become a leader in rental and used equipment.
‘Graziano has dedicated his career to rental and used equipment. He has OEM experience at Caterpillar and CNH Industrial as well as dealer experience at CGT and Barloworld. LiuGong are fortunate to have a leader with such a rich experience.’
On joining LiuGong, Mr Cassinelli (pictured) said: ‘With their tough equipment, LiuGong offer the types of machines and equipment that the rental market needs and wants. The opportunity to spearhead this effort with LiuGong is one that I am looking forward to.’
