New appointment at Bonomi UK

Thom Shannon brings years of process automation experience to new role at Bonomi UK

VALVE and actuator suppliers Bonomi (UK) Ltd have appointed Thom Shannon as key account manager to reinforce their customer focus across the UK process and industrial markets.

Supporting several key strategic accounts, he will have a regional and national remit with responsibility for developing Bonomi’s presence with OEMs, end-users, contractors and within distribution channels.

Mr Shannon has vast experience in the process automation field, having previously worked for some of the industry’s largest global players, developing extensive knowledge of the valve marketplace over the last 20 years.

His experience working with customers has involved many different industrial processes, covering both automation and fluid control, including mineral and aggregates.

Mr Shannon said: ‘In my new role with Bonomi I will also be involved in new business generation, as Bonomi’s fast-expanding range offers plenty of scope for significant expansion across many industries.

‘I will also be working with other parts of The Fluid Power Centre Group of companies when providing solutions to our customers.’
