More new Bobcat telehandlers for CEMEX
Building materials giant purchases eight new Bobcat telescopic handlers
CEMEX representatives recently took the opportunity to visit Bobcat’s Pontchâteau plant, in France, to place a new order for eight Bobcat telehandlers. The visit followed the delivery of eight earlier machines to various production sites belonging to the CEMEX Group at the beginning of the year.
The latest order, once again, demonstrate Bobcat’s ability to meet the needs of major customers. CEMEX are making full use of the versatility of Bobcat telehandlers which have been supplied with a range of attachments, including pallet forks, buckets, jibs and man-platforms.
The construction materials firm has purchased Bobcat’s TL range of telehandlers with lifting heights from 6-7m for a range of tasks, including handling large bagged loads. CEMEX have also chosen Bobcat’s T series telescopic handlers with lifting heights between 14m and 18m as part of their maintenance operations using man-platforms.
Since the start of the year, CEMEX have placed several orders for Bobcat machines, including two 14m telehandlers and a further six units in July to bolster their equipment fleet.
According to CEMEX, the Bobcat telehandlers were chosen for a number of reasons, including: specifications and options offered by the manufacturer were particularly suited to the needs of CEMEX operations teams; total cost of the equipment and the finance solutions were highly favourable; and the French-made machines are fully in line with CEMEX’s policy of corporate responsibility, particularly in terms of responsible purchasing.
