Molson Green enter the Scottish market
New service support agreement with Young Plant sees Terex EE expand dealership north of the border
MOLSON Green have reached an agreement with Young Plant Sales that will see the Stirlingshire-based company offer service support across the range of environmental equipment Molson Green offer.
These brands include Sennebogen, Keestrak and Terex Environmental Equipment, as well specialist attachments from manufacturers NPK and Daemo.
The agreement will see Molson Green and Young Plant working together to deliver high-quality after-sales service and support to the waste, recycling, demolition, wood processing and forestry industries across Scotland.
The waste and recycling sector in Scotland has been identified as Molson Green as a key market with excellent growth potential. The company has been planning its entry to this market for some time and sees the agreement with Young Plant as a great opportunity for both companies.
Robin Powell (right of photo), joint managing director of Molson Group, said: ‘The tie-in with Young Plant will ensure that the full range of quality equipment that Molson Green offer is available to customers across Scotland.
‘They can now rest assured that the same level of high-quality after-sales service that Molson Green offer in the rest of the country is available to them. We are looking forward to working with Young Plant to help deliver that service.’
The move has triggered specialist plant manufacturers Terex Environmental Equipment to appoint Molson Green as their dealer for Scotland, in addition to the areas they already cover.
Conor Hegarty (left of photo), international sales director with Terex EE, said: ‘Since we first appointed Molson Green as dealers for the Midlands, southern England and South Wales in late 2015, our UK business has grown from strength to strength.
‘Molson Green have firmly established Terex EE as one of the foremost recycling and environmental equipment brands in the UK. We are excited at the opportunity that we now have in Scotland and are confident that Molson Green will establish a strong presence for us there too.’
